Kaiserschmarrn (spécialité autrichienne)

  • 150 g Flour
  • 250 ml Lait
  • 10 g Vanilla sugar
  • 1 Teaspoon Salt
  • 4 Piece(s) / Portion(s) Egg yolk
  • 4 Piece(s) / Portion(s) Egg white
  • 50 g Butter
  • 50 g Sugar
  • 30 g Sugar to caramelise
  1. Preheat the grill in the Standard position with the Gourmet Pan for 5 minutes at the highest level. Keep the lid closed.

  2. Get all of the ingredients ready.

  3. Stir the flour, milk, vanilla sugar and salt together with a whisk until smooth. Fold in the egg yolk. Beat the egg white with granulated sugar until stiff and fold this into the mixture.

  1. Heat the butter in the preheated Gourmet Pan.

  2. Pour in the mixture, spread it, turn it and bake it for 10 minutes.

  3. Cut into pieces, sprinkle with granulated sugar and leave to caramelise. Sprinkle with icing sugar, dish up and serve with a seasonal compote.
