Tarte à l'oignon et aux lardons

  • 1 kg Onions, cut into thin slices
  • 250 g Bacon, cut into cubes
  • 2 Piece(s) / Portion(s) Eggs
  • 250 g Sour cream
  • 250 g Mountain cheese, grated
  • 50 g Butter
  • 1 Teaspoon Salt
  • 0.5 Teaspoon Freshly ground pepper
  • 1 Teaspoon Caraway
  • Some chives, finely sliced
  1. Preheat the grill in the Standard position for 5 minutes at the medium level, keep the lid closed.

  2. Get all of the ingredients ready.

  3. Cover the cast iron pan with baking paper, place the dough inside and cut away any excess dough from the top of the rim of the pan. Add the sour cream and eggs to a bowl and mix everything together well. Season with salt and pepper.

  1. Heat the butter in the preheated Gourmet Pan, add the onions and sauté at approximately 160 °C.

  2. Add the cubes of bacon and sauté with the onions until they are soft.

  3. Add the caraway and season with salt and pepper. Remove everything from the grill.

  4. Spread the onion and bacon mixture over the dough.

  5. Pour the sour cream and egg mixture over the tart.

  6. Sprinkle cheese evenly over the tart and bake in the preheated grill at 220 °C for 35 minutes until golden brown. Garnish with chives.
