Grilled beef goulash

Ingredients
  • 1 kg Beef goulash (stewed beef)
  • 1 kg Onions, chopped
  • 500 g Red pepper / chilli pepper, cut into slices
  • 1 Tablespoon Tomato paste
  • 1 Tablespoon Sunflower oil
  • 1.5 Teaspoon Marjoram
  • 2 Teaspoon Paprika powder
  • 1 Teaspoon Caraway
  • 750 ml Meat broth
  • Salt
  • Freshly ground pepper
Preparation
  1. Place the grill in the Standard position while preheating the lower part of the Dutch Oven for 10 minutes at the highest level. Keep the lid closed.

  2. Get all of the ingredients ready.

Cooking
  1. Heat the oil in the Dutch Oven and brown the meat well all over in portions. Reduce the heat.

  2. Add the tomato paste, spices and onions and sauté briefly.

  3. Add the chilli and briefly sauté everything together.

  4. Pour over the meat broth.

  5. Allow the goulash to simmer on a low heat for approximately 2 hours. Check the amount of liquid from time to time and top up with meat broth where necessary.
